As stated in the subject line:

For FFMpeg support, Audacity does not automatically find libavformat.so.52.

When selecting "Find Library" in Edit>Preferences>Import/Export, audacity
presents the message "avformat-52.dll: cannot open shared object file: No such
file or directory".
