Bug#527989: mplayer: full screen image off center/screen

mplayer displays some (typically widescreen) movies off center/screen in full 
screen mode. I have had black borders with non widescreen videos, too, but not 
typically that bad. Although one was displayed so low that the lower part was cut 
off.

For example http://darsie.dyndns.org/pub/video/mouette.mpg is displayed too much 
to the right so the right portion is off screen. Here are screen shots of the

This probably happened when I 'apt-get dist-upgrade'ed my system recently. Didn't 
have this problem before.

This problem does not appear with gmplayer.

I have an nVidia 6200 card and installed the latest nvidia driver 
(NVIDIA-Linux-x86-180.51-pkg1.run) with the nvidia installer. To test, if the 
new driver caused the problem, I tried the nv driver. The same.
