Personally, I would find monthly meetings sufficient and they would
hopefully not induce too much meeting fatigue. I would be in favor of
said monthly meeting having a set date/time ( 2nd tuesdays at 21UTC, or
somesuch, for example ) as that tends to stick better in people's minds,
in my experience. That's contingent on there actually being such a time
for such a widely geo-diverse group as this, of course.

For more frequent coordination we have the list, git, wiki and irc.
(just my humble 2/100ths of $currency).

One note this made me think of, though. For anyone who accidentally
misses a meeting or just cannot make it, meetbot logs will be available.
These provide both a summary view and links to the full logs. For an
