Some problems while pushing my first branch

Hi guys,

I have some problems with git, I'm following the procedure explained here [1].

Just after the following command:

git remote add alioth
ssh://quadrispro-guest@git.debian.org/git/pkg-multimedia/arista.git

I tried to type the following:

git push alioth master

When it asked me to login, I tried to enter my password but it doesn't work.

Hope someone could help me.
