Yes, that is intentional.
Sorry for not clarifying in the commit message: The package must not
accidentally be released as-is: I have discovered DFSG-violating files
in the source.
I am working on repackaging currently: Just a moment ago I finished the
looong task of making a full Git mirror of the JACK SVN, for composing a
diff between released tarball source and later SVN commit.
Yeah, I know, it is possible to do the shortcut of working directly with
SVN, but I _hate_ that, so took the long deroute...
