It seems we are miscommunicating, I don't remember such a statement.

We seem to talk about different kind of noise. I'm talking about the
lines in the symbol files that correspond to symbols that are not part
of the export jack API. They will be around until symbol hiding is
implemented.

The jack API as defined by the doxygen documentation is AFAIUI fairly
stable. The exported ABI seems not.
