Realtime permissions on Ubuntu

The following is of general interest to Debian, but foremost to Ubuntu.
I know we have some guys here on the list who are doing multimedia in
Ubuntu, so you might want to ping your kernel team:

(the link is about a kernel option which "prevents" jackd from getting
realtime priorities)
