Justification: renders package unusable
Severity: grave
*** Please type your report below this line ***
I made an system upgrade (about 120 packages) after the last upgrade at 06.12.2010.
Now after the login the compositing is disabled and can't be activated.
Before it works perfect.
Of course I tried to activate it with ALT + SHIFT + F12
I attach an screenshot with the system message trying to enable it.
In the .xsession-errors i can find
kdeinit4: preparing to launch /usr/bin/plasma-desktop
kwin(2422): Compositing self-check failed, disabling compositing.
kdeinit4: preparing to launch /usr/bin/knotify4
and
kglobalaccel(2424) KGlobalAccelImpl::x11Event: Got XKeyPress event
kglobalaccel(2424) GlobalShortcutsRegistry::keyPressed: "Alt+Shift+F12" = "Suspend Compositing"
kwin(2422): Compositing self-check failed, disabling compositing.
kwin(2422): Failed to initialize compositing, compositing disabled

plasma-desktop(2428): Failed to lock file "/var/tmp/kdecache-karsten/kpc/plasma_theme_oxygen.lock" , last result = 1
systemsettings(2509)/kdecore (KConfigSkeleton) KCoreConfigSkeleton::writeConfig:

I attached the complete file.
