Rev 21012 - I grabbed the source from one of Christian Marillat's
packages (dated 20100104), and then made the minimum modifications
(mainly reverting specific commits made that were made to to keep up
with ffmpeg's internal changes, and backporting necessary functions) as
necessary until it built, didn't crash, and didn't output static.

As for keeping it updated - I'd hoped that the next ffmpeg upstream
snapshot uploaded to Debian would remove the need for the backport...
Until that's all sorted out, however, if problems do crop up, I will
help you out and look into them, try to keep the patch in sync etc.,
but my time (and skills and knowledge) is limited, so I won't be able
to provide instant fixes.
