Hello all,

I'm Andrew Gee, a Computer Science student in the UK. I have been
interested in open source software for some years now, and have recently
become more involved in packaging. I'd like to join the Debian
Multimedia Team to package up some tools that I'd like to see in Debian.

I've already packaged three pieces of software, under the Debian Python
Teams, so am already confident in packaging and debian in general.

The two packages I hope to get into debian are silentjack and jackmeter.
These are both useful tools that I am using.

silentjack is a silence detector for the JACK audio system.

jackmeter is a command line audio meter for JACK.
