So if you have clone the experimental branch of vlc.git I suggest you delete and recreate it rather than pulling.

Push should happen this evening (BST).

Gritty details:
The sid branch wasn't created from the tip of experimental for vlc 1.0.0. So it causes problems now when i restart from sid.
Plus git-merge doesn't like some binary file from upstream, especially all po/*.gmo
