Yes.  I can add to this that Jordens wrote me privately confirming that 
he has lost interest entirely in package maintainance for Debian and 
asked to adopt as many of his packages as I wanted.  So I intend to 
adopt (via the Multimedia team) the Multimedia-related packages (if not 
already adopted by others).
