Hi!

Yesterday, I have talked to Reinhard, and we agreed to switch to jackd2
in Debian (squeeze) and Ubuntu (post-lucid).

Even more, we're coordinating with opensuse and Fedora to do the same,
so users will have a homogeneous pro-audio environment across distros.

We hope this coordinated acting will help upstream to consolidate their
work. (completely different codebase between jackd1 and jackd2)

Sure, will do. We will add

   * jackd1 --> jackd2
      * jackd realtime prios
      * jackdbus

   * FreeBoB --> FFADO

   * LV2 plugin support

Something like this. I'll have to check the changelogs for important
achievements, but feel free to point me to specific stuff.

Cheerio
