 Sure, well I guessed you were the only one committing and in the
 Uploaders field, so pretty much the most caring person for the package;
 I guessed other people interested in the package would notice the
 commits on IRC or on the commits list, but I didn't want to disrupt
 your work since you had unuploaded changes

 Yeah, I just opted for the lazy option; also, there's a chicken and
 egg: I write the patch, include it in the packaging, test it before I
 have an URL for the upstream bug, then I forward it when I've tested
 it.

 Actually I did read the README and I did write and propose the patches
 upstream, which is why I named them 1xxx
