Bug#597100: mplayer-gui: gmplayer skins do not display in 16-bit color depth

If /etc/X11/xorg.conf specifies a color depth of
16 (DefaultDepth 16), gmplayer's skin displays as
a black silhouette. While videos play normally, the
controls (play, pause, volume, etc.) are invisible.

This bug seems to happen only if the color depth is not
24. The problem occurs regardless of the skin used.
