* Description: tools for creating video DVDs, VCDs, and SVCDs
 tovid is a set of command line and GUI tools, written in Python, for     
identifying videos, converting them to the DVD, VCD, or SVCD format, and 
generating DVD menus and structure. It builds atop existing tools like mplayer, 
ffmpeg and dvdauthor, providing a convenient, user-friendly front-end.

I originally packaged tovid for Ubuntu, which has included it since version 8.04 
(Hardy Heron). All its dependencies are in Debian main. This ITP expresses my 
intent to import the package into Debian and maintain it within the Debian 
Multimedia Maintainers team.
