Version: 0.12.0~svn2018-6.1
Severity: serious
Hi,
mediatomb FTBFS in unstable due to what looks like a consequence of the
recent gcc-4.4 linker invocation changes; from the build log:
g++ -I../src -I../tombupnp/ixml/inc -I../tombupnp/threadutil/inc
-I../tombupnp/upnp/inc -I.. -I/usr/include/mysql -DBIG_JOINS=1
-fno-strict-aliasing -DUNIV_LINUX -DUNIV_LINUX -I/usr/include/mozjs
-I/usr/include/taglib -pthread -Wall -g -O2 -Wl,-z,defs
-lrt -lmagic -o mediatomb mediatomb-main.o libmediatomb.a
../tombupnp/build/libtombupnp.a -Wl,-z,defs -lsqlite3
-rdynamic -L/usr/lib/mysql -lmysqlclient_r -L/usr/lib -ltag -lmozjs
-lmagic -lexif -lrt -pthread -lavformat -lavutil -lffmpegthumbnailer
-lexpat -lcurl -lcurl
/usr/bin/ld: libmediatomb.a(libmediatomb_a-mysql_storage.o): undefined
reference to symbol 'uncompress'
/usr/bin/ld: note: 'uncompress' is defined in DSO /usr/lib64/libz.so.1 so
try adding it to the linker command line
/usr/lib64/libz.so.1: could not read symbols: Invalid operation
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[3]: *** [mediatomb] Error 1
