It is both different from and, at the same time, similar to other
tools already available in the archives: said that, I'm sorry but I
fail to catch the point.
Does not Debian have tens of valid altenatives for almost every
general-purpose program it provides, does it?
How many sound players do we have? How many window managers do we
provide? How many alternative text editors?

XCFA is a stable, well developed and wide-featured application which
provides a nice graphical interface to a large collection of
sound-encoding tools.
IMHO it may help us making users feel more comfortable while
converting music CDs into their favorite formats.
However, feel free to drop the package if you really think it's not
appropriate to Debian.

A misspelling, the correct form would be: "...and convert musical
audio files to ...".

Another typo, it means that the application allows the user to
globally set the volume level and apply to all extracted/converted
tracks.

"Small" doesn't have any particular reason for being there. So,
s/Small// would be more appropriate.

XCFA's translations need much love indeed (for instance, even the
Italian localization is horrible), I'll contact upstream and our l10n
mailing lists in order to get the best.
All patches will be applied with my future uploads.
