I saw the patch, and IIRC, it's really safe to include it. No idea if it
would still apply to upcoming ardour3, but if need be, we can augment
the ardour2 Debian package with this patch.

There's also a request to update the package to current SVN, but it's
not entirely trivial. At least a quick diff revealed tons of changes,
but I didn't have the time to look closer.


Unless there needs to be more discussion, I'd simply add the patch.
