Ecasound - largefile support

Hi,

I was under the impression that linux and Debian support the
largefile option. However when I run ./configure under my
sid system, it reports that largefile support is not enabled.

	checking for largefile support (>2GB files)...
	checking for special C compiler options needed for large files... no
	checking for _FILE_OFFSET_BITS value needed for large files... no

Is someone familiar with this issue?
