splitting of libav-extra branches

I see. On the one hand, the libav-extra packages do not share sources 
with the libav packages (i.e. they include them separately at build 
time by means of the libav-source package). On the other hand, the 
packaging information of both packages should be as synchronized as 
possible.

I am therefore indifferent about the split, but I have never attempted 
to merge those branches myself. So if you say it helps keeping both 
packaging branches clean, then please proceeed. ;)
