Sorry, but we are not going to divert from upstream WRT user 
interface. We want to avoid people ending up writing scripts that only 
work on Debian with flac package version (>= x.y) but on no other 
system. This is clearly a request for upstream, but since upstream is 
inactive for several years, I fear this request is somehow lost. :(
