[I was unsure if I should reopen #611579 or report a new bug. Choosed
the latter.]

If you look at http://bugs.debian.org/623096#20 you see that #611579
affects mencoder, too:

	$ mencoder
	mencoder: relocation error: mencoder: symbol codec_wav_tags, version LIBAVFORMAT_52 not defined in file libavformat.so.52 with link time reference

So please Break: mencoder, too.

The patch below bases on the master-0.6 branch.
