Hi!

I used to do

   mplayer -cache 8192 -playlist
"http://wstreaming.zdf.de/zdf/veryhigh/111028_hsh_hsh.asx"

But this doesn't work, mplayer gets stuck in a loop trying to connect
wstreaming.zdf.de, probably expecting an actual media file there:

If I download the file with wget and then say -playlist on the local file,
everything works as expected.

IIRC, this also is the case for mplayer2, but I wouldn't insist on it. Probably
an upstream bug anyway.
