Bug#640889: smplayer: unresponsive UI, uses 100% CPU

Package: smplayer
Version: 0.6.9-4
Severity: important

Opening any file results in the UI becoming unresponsive and smplayer
using 100% CPU until I kill it.

Maybe this problem is related to the libav 0.7 transition, since it only
showed up recently.
