Yes, there is already a bug (680153) with a patch already, but so far
no response from the maintainers.

Because jack1 and jack2 are alternative implementations of the jack
ABI. They are meant to be switchable without recompiling clients,
which is why they have the same soname. They cannot be installed at
the same time because of the file conflict, though.
