Package: libav-tools
Version: 6:0.8.4-1
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

I'm trying to convert some .dv (DV/NTSC) video files to h264. Using a simple
command that used to work with ffmpeg.

$ avconv -i video.dv -vcodec libxh264 -acodec libfaac video.m4v

Spits out a lot of output. Lots of lines like the "[NULL @ ..." one with
different parameters.

...
[NULL @ 0x224eac0] Value -4616189618054758400.000000 for parameter 'request_sample_fmt' out of range
[dv @ 0x2248720] decoding for stream 0 failed
[dv @ 0x2248720] Could not find codec parameters (Video: dvvideo, 25000 kb/s)
[dv @ 0x2248720] Estimating duration from bitrate, this may be inaccurate
video.dv: could not find codec parameters

This used to work with ffmpeg.
