Hi Janne (cc my fellow Debian maintainers),
As you might have noticed already (since you filed the RFP bug that I
adopted), I have taken responsibility for maintaining Flowblade
officicaly in Debian - on behalf of the Debian Multimedia Maintainers
team.
I noticed that you provided some copyright and licensing info not in the
released tarball but in your .deb package. Would be good if you could
provide that info n the tarball as well - e.g. in a root COPYRIGHT file.
Please also note that there are some errors in your file listings: I
assumeed that it was simply typos when files was missing but other files
with same stem but other extension existed, and assumed that the two
remaining graphics files are copyright you.
I also noticed that you claim to follow the Debian copyright file format
1.0 but violate the specs at several places. If interested then I
suggest simply reading the specs - it is actually pretty nicely written.
You are also welcome to ask, I am quite familiar with it and am happy to
elaborate on details of it (including my use of it which is odd at some
places).
I/we also took over responsibility of frei0r, and have packaged the
newest upstream release (with more recent bugfixes cherry-picked).
Unfortunately that release do not include your latest contributions - do
you know when we can expect the next formal upstream release of frei0r?
Kind regards, and thanks for a great piece of software,
- Jonas
