I do not see it yet. Could you comment what the changes are between
current package in wheezy and the one you are proposing (attached
debdiff would be superb)? Why should it be in wheezy instead 2.3.2-9?

Please, have a look to
http://release.debian.org/wheezy/freeze_policy.html, are we hitting
any of those entries to gain a release exception?
