TBH, I agree.

Fabian, this does not mean that your work on
git+ssh://git.debian.org/git/pkg-multimedia/libmkv was in vain. As
soon as some other package uses it, we can use your packaging and
upload to debian. But until then, we gain little to nothing by
shipping it outside of handbrake
