+1 to this. I think we all tried to work with Christian at some point
and ultimately, Christian would just rather do his own thing. He's
even switching his site to "deb-multimedia.org". At this point, I'm
not concerned what affect any change we make does to those using dmo.
If there's some bug related to using dmo, it's up to Christian to fix
it.

With that said, we shouldn't keep these strict internal dependencies
for the sake of dealing with issues from dmo.
