Dear Maintainer,

If xjadeo is used to launch a video converted with the suggested
mencoder example from the man xjadeo crashes with the following example

A video obtained with e.g. the following works:
 mencoder -idx -ovc lavc -lavcopts keyint=1 -lavcopts vcodec=mjpeg \
 -nosound -vf scale=720:310 video.xxx -o output.avi
