A new upstream version is available [1]. Some changes regarding packaging:
 - Allow experimental compilation against GTK+ 3
 - Switch to TagLib for MP4 tag editing and drop libmp4v2 support
   (taglib patch now obsolete)
 - Christoph J. Thompson's .desktop cleanup patch (desktop patch
   obsolete)
 - Julian Taylor's fix out of bound array access (fix-out-of-bound
   patch obsolete)
 - Leonid Podolny's easytag-2.1.6-from-txt.patch for segfault when
   pressing "Apply" in "Load filenames from TXT" dialog
   (fix_segfault_loading_tags_from_txt patch obsolete)
 - Christoph J. Thompson's change to not install the ChangeLog
   (debian/rules cleanup)
 - Use intltool for internationalization
