Jonas, I understand that this reply is supposed to indicate that you
are not going to help out here.

That's unfortunate, but that also means that the current
debian/copyright file is in an absolutely unmaintainable state. I am
not going to touch it right now in the hope that a better solution is
found until such changes becomes necessary, but if that happens before
we have a solution, I fear the only option available to me will be to
revert to a simpler to maintain structure of the licensing file.
