Package: mediatomb-common
Version: 0.12.1-4+b1
Severity: grave
The MediaTomb daemon executable in Wheezy is linked to libfaac
ldd /usr/bin/mediatomb | grep libfaac
libfaac.so.0 => not found
In Wheezy, no package provides libfaac.so.0
Therefore the MediaTomb daemon fails to run.
/etc/init.d/mediatomb start
[....] Starting upnp media server: mediatomb/usr/bin/mediatomb:
error while loading shared libraries: libfaac.so.0:
cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
failed!
This makes the package unusable and therefore the
severity of the bug is set to GRAVE.
Was MediatTomb ever tested for release in Wheezy?
