thanks for following up on this bug.

Unfortunately, the issue is still present in version 1.0.8-2, I've just
reproduced it...
(In case this is relevant, I am currently using libgmtk1/1.0.8-3)

And anyway, if you re-read the original report, you may see that I had
found the bug in both gnome-mplayer/1.0.7-4 and gnome-mplayer/1.0.8-1:
hence, I would have been very surprised, if I had been unable to
reproduce it now with gnome-mplayer/1.0.8-2, which seems to be the
upload to unstable of gnome-mplayer/1.0.8-1 (previously targeted to
experimental)!

I am therefore reopening the bug report.

Thanks for anything you may do, in order to have this bug fixed.
