libavcodec-extra-53 changes?

You sure? In libavcodec-extra-53 it was not included at all, see:

$ avconv -formats | grep aacenc
avconv version 0.8.6-4:0.8.6-0ubuntu0.12.04.1, Copyright (c) 2000-2013
the Libav developers
  built on Apr  2 2013 17:02:36 with gcc 4.6.3

$

Empty, no hint about this codec ...
