Bug#734100: Same issue - maybe connected to Alsa

Hello!
I think I have the same issue - I tried it with the test MKVs from http://sourceforge.net/projects/matroska/files/test_files/matroska_test_w1_1.zip/download and used test3.mkv to make a detailed log with VLC (2.1.2 - I compiled VLC myself 2.2.0-git shows the same behavior). Every few seconds you get a rather blocky and distorted/pixelated picture sometimes crashing VLC with a segfault.
If I disable audio output (I use ALSA) the problem does not appear like mentioned here: https://trac.videolan.org/vlc/ticket/10422
Sorry for this post in advance I am rather new to this whole bug finding/solving issue.
Kind regardsKidIcarus
