I'd be happy to join the team and keep maintaining the package.

From the join page on the wiki:
      * My alioth account is jcowgill-guest.
      * I've subscribed to the maintainers and commits mailing lists.
      * I managed bugs on a few other packages so I think I'm fairly
        familiar with the BTS.
      * When I have the time, I can review other people's work.
