gmerlin package

hi fellas,

i've been working a little bit on the "gmerlin" package, as it is
threatened to be removed from testing by the end of july.

while i've pushed my efforts (without regenerating debian/control and
debian/changelog), i wanted to ask whether it is OK for the current
uploaders (alessio, romain), if i've joined you and uploaded the package
to unstable.
