Great! MIDI tools are indeed in need of some love (or was when I last
had a look at them, some time ago).

There seems to be two interpretations of sponsoring. Some (including
me) use that term only for approval of works done by others.
I'd be happy to co-maintain pmidi with you, if that is what you mean,
but won't "sponsor" your solo work.
