with respect to [580120], [600025] and [778669], i strongly believe that
"lo" is *the very best* choice for the default interface.
if you consider your LAN secure enough to have mediatomb accessible from
everywhere, it's easy enough to enable it. (just edit the MT_INTERFACE
configuration in etc/default/mediatomb)
this ought to be made into a debconf configuration.
