Bug#670236: happens on new Intel based system

I'm running a Thinkpad T420 with the above video/chipset hardware.  It's got 
an i5-2520M so it's reasonably new.

I'm trying to play a 3840x2160 video recorded with a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 (a 
phone that was released in 2013).

The mplayer option "--vf=scale=1600:-2" makes it display, but it gives the 
warning "Your system is too SLOW to play this!" (which might have occurred 
even without software scaling but I can't test).
