Because bs1770gain is not supposed to have a myriad of backends to deal 
with. It should be just one: FFmpeg.

The hope is that one day FFmpeg will have fixed their errors. They are 
the experts for those myriads of formats and codecs.

Please file these errors under FFmpeg.
