Do you really believe that simply dropping this information in a bug
report about inkscape will help?

I believe that _you_ need more information.

The inkscape package depends on some libaries that are entangled in a
_huge_ ABI transition that is currently going on in unstable. This
transition involves renaming of the library packages and conflicting
with the old versions. While some of the libraries that inkscape
depends on have already migrated to testing, the inkscape package that
has been rebuilt against these libraries (version 0.91-5+b2) has not
yet.

As I have already suggested yesterday, please be patient until inkscape
0.91-5+b2 migrates to testing.
