hmm, as far as i understand, if the package version was 16.4.0 than this
bug-report would be void.

we (the package maintainers) strive to keep our packages up-to-date.
if they are not at the same version as upstream, there is usually a
reason for this (mostly lack of manpower).

The good news is that an updated package has been uploaded an hour ago
by sramacher.
