Not sure what was discussed with xwax package (didn't follow that) but
there should be no need to repackage source tarball. Instead, suppress
the file in git-buildpackage.
Reason for that is that a) non-git-managed builds (e.g. official builds
on build daemons) are not affected by git hints, but b) our git-managed
builds get confused by upstream-infused git hints but we can suppress
that locally in our git management tools.
