That's unfortunate.

kodi 17.0~beta5+dfsg1-3:

The "-a -pxbmc-bin" is what broke it. Debhelper applied the epoch to the
_union_ of arch dependent packages and 'xbmc-bin' instead of the
intersection which is probably what you expected it to do.
