Bug#842235: handbrake: Crashes with unusable output file on some DVD titles

Package: handbrake
Version: 0.9.9+svn6422+dfsg1-2
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

both Handbrake's GUI and CLI crash nearly at the end of the conversion of some DVD titles,
even if the title is first converted to a single VOB file using M Player#s ‘dumpstream’
option or if the whole DVD structure is first copied using DVD Backup.

The DVD itself and both copies can be played without problems using M Player. Handbrake in
both versions converts all other titles on the DVD without problems. So far this has only
happened with the last title on the respective DVD.

In any case, the file created by Handbrake is as large as expected but is unusable (M
Player plays no sound and shows noise as video).

When started from the command line, the GUI mereley reports ‘Aborted’ (excellent error
message).

The CLI writes this:
