OK, with that file I can see what you mean.
But following basic computer science principals, you can just wait.  I
have a computer with specs similar to yours, and after ~30 sec/~1 min
or a bit more of once thread at 100% the process is completed (both
copying the whole picture, pasting it again, moving, grouping,
ungrouping…).


I'll send everything upstream, even if I suspect they are already aware
of this bug.
